The Outnumbered formed in Champaign, IL in 1982, influenced by the Byrds and Ramones, aiming for a crunching but jangling sound supported by strong original songwriting. Together for 5 years, recording 3 LPs and playing 222 shows across the US. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Jon Ginoli is best known for his later band Pansy Division. Featured on the 2020 retro 80s indie compilation Strum & Thrum.
